• Algorithms for sequence alignments
• Novel and efficient methods on pairwise and multiple sequence alignment
• Constructing nucleotide and amino acid matrices
• Analysis and search of sequence motifs- advanced applications
• Constructing protein profiles and map
• Hands on sessions using EMBOSS and GCG packages
