IBAB invites applications for various positions in Structural and Computational Biology

Institution :	Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore
Discipline :	Structural Biology, Structural Bioinformatics, Genomics and Proteomics, Programming for Biology, Database and webserver management, HPC and CUDA computing applications.
Last date for application:	20th February, 2020
Minimum qualification :	B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc. in Science/IT streams for project and research assistant posts, Ph.D for Research associate level positions.

These positions offer a unique opportunity to participate in research in the area of Structural and computational biology.  The responsibilities involve one or more of i) protein purification, ii) crystallization and iii) making functional assays, iv) computational studies of protein structure and function, v) NGS analysis, vi) network biology, vii) Bioinformatics tool developments, ix) database management and x) web hosting etc. Project assistants with proven merit will be eligible to enroll in the Ph.D. program at IBAB. CSIR/UGC NET, GATE, DBT-BINC eligibility will be an added advantage.

Selection procedure: Short listed candidates will be called for a personal interview at IBAB. No TA/DA permissible to attend interview.

Remunerations will be commensurate to the qualifications and experience, as per Institutional norms.
