Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the Synthetic Biology group at IBAB, Bengaluru. The successful candidate will participate in an interdisciplinary collaborative research project aimed at engineering promoters for gene expression using computational approaches including artificial intelligence and machine learning. The selected candidate will receive training in the relevant areas. The position is available initially for a period of 6 months and is extendable till project funding is available.
Essential Qualifications, Experiences and Skills:
- B.E/B.Tech/Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or related subjects from a recognized university with a good academic record.
- A minimum of 6 month experience in computer programming and data analyses.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills, ability to maintain accurate records, team player and willingness to learn.
Desirable Experiences and Skills:
Experience in gene expression data analyses.

As per IBAB norms.
