The Disease Epigenomics group at IBAB is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) to work on Cancer Epigenetics and Epigenomics, 3D genome organization, Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition in colorectal cancer and on cancer stem cells The work will involve experimental and computational components of next generation sequencing (ChIP and ATAC sequencing, RNA sequencing, single cell transcriptomics) and multi omic data analysis, high end imaging, machine learning, 3D genome organisation and molecular biology approaches besides a significant translational component.

Qualifications : M.Sc./ M.Tech./B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics /any branch of Life Sciences with a passion for research. Candidates with experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates who show exceptional performance will be registered for a Ph.D. at the Institute after a performance review at the end of 6 months.

Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month with HRA for candidates who have qualified national level examinations like GATE, CSIR-NET, DBT-JRF,etc.
