The Disease Epigenomics group at IBAB is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Research Fellows (JRFs)/Project Assistants to work on Cancer Epigenetics and Epigenomics, 3D genome organization, Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition and on cancer stem cells.

The work will involve experimental and computational components of next generation sequencing (ChIP and ATAC sequencing, RNA sequencing, single cell transcriptomics), high end imaging, machine learning and molecular biology approaches.

Qualifications : M.Sc./ M.Tech./B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics /any branch of Life Sciences with a passion for research. Candidates with experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates who show exceptional performance will be registered for a Ph.D. at the Institute after a performance review at the end of 6 months.

Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month with HRA for candidates who have qualified national level examinations like GATE, CSIR-NET, DBT-JRF,etc.. Highly motivated candidates who have not qualified any national level examination will be absorbed and paid according to the norms of IBAB.
