Applications are invited from motivated candidates for the Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer position(s) at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bengaluru. The successful candidate will work in the area of developing software platforms and products for the education, research and administration domains. The applicant should be inclined to develop and maintain modern, scalable and robust software applications for addressing the operational needs of an educational institution.
The position will be offered initially for 12 months and based on performance and satisfactory progress, it can be extended until project funding is available. Meritorious and enthusiastic candidates may be considered for the research projects and the IBAB-PhD program based on their willingness, suitability, and eligibility. Selected candidates may also avail of on-campus hostel accommodation.
Eligbility:
M.Tech./B.Tech in Computer Science with 4-7 yrs of strong product development experience as a full stack developer in leading organizations. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in building web applications using the following technologies.
- front-end languages and libraries, such as JavaScript, React, Angular, and HTML/CSS, jQuery
- back-end languages, such as Java, Python, Go and JavaScript frameworks, such as Node.js
- databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, web servers and UI/UX design
In addition, the candidate should possess good communication skills, good organizational and time management skills, including the ability to follow Agile software development methodology.
Remuneration:
Based on the qualifications, experience and as per IBAB norms.
