Vishnu Madhav, a 1st year MSc in Big Data Biology (BDB) student, has been selected under the prestigious Google Summer of Code programme through a proposal he submitted to the National Resource for Network Biology of the NIH, USA. Vishnu is one of 1220 selected applicants (out of 43000 applicants) from 73 countries received by Google SoC. He will work with a group of mentors from the US and Europe for the same. 

Another 1st year MSc BDB student Suryadip Sarkar has obtained the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Fellowship and will be working at NIT, Rourkela.
