The themes of the workshop include: ● Microbial Handling ● Primer designing ● Strain generation by homologous recombination methods ● Microbial Transformation and screening ● Molecular Biology Techniques ● Data analysis, visualisation and statistical tests
Target Audience:
The course is designed to provide Lecturers and faculty members from colleges and universities a
hands-on experience in handling microbial cultures, microbial strain generation, cloning and basic
molecular biology techniques to apply them in their research and in teaching. Faculty members from
state universities and colleges with minimal resources and less exposure to microbial and molecular
techniques were encouraged to apply. This workshop was funded by SSR component of
Anusandhan National Research Foundation - SERB- Core Research Grant – Sanction Order
