As a part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations, the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) is organizing an Open House Day on 20th December 2025, to showcase our ongoing research activities to the general public. This day-long event will showcase the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities, academic programs and research activities of IBAB. It will also provide an opportunity for school students, teachers, parents, industry partners and the general public to interact with IBAB’s faculty members and researchers. Through interactive demonstrations, poster presentations, laboratory visits, and discussions, participants will gain first-hand insights into ongoing research projects, technological innovations, and educational initiatives. The event is designed to highlight IBAB’s interdisciplinary strengths, research activities, collaborative endeavors, and commitment to nurturing scientific curiosity. We further aim to motivate school students through science model making competitions. Overall, this event will bring together researchers, educators, and visitors in an informal and engaging setting and anticipate that this will lead to the emergence of inspiring new ideas, foster partnerships, and encourage young minds to explore exciting career paths in science and technology.
